Troubleshooting
Problem:
The message “Can't display page is shown when failing to connect to DVR (when inputting the IP Address or Domain Name in the Internet Explorer).
Check:
•Check the network connection
•Try connecting the DVR to a different port on the Router
•The DVR may not have the correct Network Settings. Refer to Technical Support.
Problem:
Cannot download the Active X Controls (when using Internet Explorer).
Check:
•Check that Windows XP Service Pack 2 is installed on the PC
•The DVR may not have the correct Network Settings. Refer to Technical Support.
Problem:
The Client Program is terminated with the error message "Unsupported OS version!".
Check:
•The client program only works on Window XP and Windows 2000. It does not support Windows 98, 98SE, or ME
Problem:
The Client Login box appears, and does not accept the User ID and Password.
Check:
•This happens when the User ID and Password are not correct. Check the exact ID and Password on the DVR unit.
