The following figure shows the logical view and physical view of an Integrated Mirroring volume. Each logical block address (LBA) is mirrored on the second disk.

You can configure an Integrated Mirroring Enhanced volume with up to 10 mirrored disks. The following figure shows the logical view and physical view of an Integrated Mirroring Enhanced volume with three mirrored disks. The firmware writes each mirrored stripe to a disk and mirrors it to an adjacent disk. RAID1E is another term for this type of mirrored configuration.
