PREFERENCESThis section provides a comprehensive review of the P references for Torq. Open the
Preferences by clicking the Preferences i con.
Note:
An additional tab appears on th e right side of the
Preferences window when certain M -Audio products (such as the
Xponent DJ controller) are being used in conjunct ion with Torq.
This tab contains parameter s relating specifically to the operat ion of
the connected M-Audio device. To learn more abou t the contents
of this additional tab, refer to your new hard ware’s User Guide.
Audio Tab
This tab houses options relating to t he audio interface used with Torq. You’ll select the
interface to use, set sampling r ates and buffer sizes, and assign th e various inputs and
outputs. Torq supports ASIO and Direct X protocols on Windows and Core Audio on
Mac OS X.
Note: Although Torq will work with a single ster eo output audio
interface, it is recommended that you u se a multiple-output audio
interface. The extra outputs a llow you to make use of song cueing, i.e.
pre-listening to a song on headphone s before you mix it.
