Playing discs

1 Turn on the TV and set to the correct Video In

channel DVD (AV1). (p.19)

Note: Make sure the TV power is “ON”.

2Insert a disc into integrated DVD player. Note: Make sure the label side is facing up. For double-sided discs, load the side you want to play facing down.

3Playback will start automatically. (Exclude MP3, JPEG) Note: If the disc is locked by parental control, you must enter your four-digit password or default password to unlock this function.

4At any time, simply press STOP to stop playback.

If DVD playback can not eject the disc, please turn off the TV power, and turn on it after few seconds. Then the disc can be ejected smoothly.

Using the disc menu

Depending on the disc, a menu may appear on the TV screen when you press DISC MENU.

To select a playback feature or item.

Use the on the remote control, then press PLAY or OK to activate playback.

To access the menu.

Press DISC MENU on the remote control.

Basic playback controls

Following operations described are based on the use of remote control.

Pausing playback (DVD/SVCD/VCD/CD/MP3)

1	During playback, press PAUSE .
	Playback will pause and sound will be muted.

2To return to normal playback, press PLAY.

Zoom (DVD/SVCD/VCD)

Zooming allows you to enlarge or reduce the video image during playback.

1 Press ZOOM repeatedly to increase and decrease the

playback video image.

Selecting track/chapter (DVD/SVCD/VCD/CD)

1	Press	briefly during playback to go to the next chap-
	ter/track.
2 Press		to go to the previous track (VCD/CD) or return
	to the beginning of the current chapter (DVD/SVCD).

Resuming playback from the last stopped point (DVD)

Press PLAY to resume playback.

Subtitles

Press SUBTITLE repeatedly to select different subtitle languages.

Repeat

Press REPEAT continuously to choose a Repeat mode during playback.

For DVD

–CHAPTER REPEAT ON:

to repeat playback of the current chapter.

–TITLE REPEAT ON:

to repeat playback of the current track / title.

–REPEAT OFF: to cancel the repeat mode.

For VCD/CD

–REPEAT ONE:

to repeat playback of the current track / title.

–REPEAT ALL:

to repeat playback of all the disc and all the programmed tracks.

–REPEAT OFF:

to cancel the repeat mode.

Repeat A-B (DVD/SVCD/VCD/CD)

1 Press REPEAT A-B at your chosen starting point.

2Press REPEAT A-B again at your chosen end point. The section A and B can be set only within the same chapter/track.

The section will now repeat continuously.

3 To exit the sequence, press REPEAT A-B.
