Connect the RF ante nna cable of the RF IN s ocket of your
other AV d evice.
Connect the RF out put of the AV d evice to the RF input o f the
recorder .
Connect another RF cable from th e output OU T of your
recorder to the TV ’s input CAB LE/AN TENNA 7 5 jac k.
To obtain b etter qua lity, also co nnect the V ideo or S-Vid eo,
Audio le ft and Audi o right cabl es of both devices to AV2
(VIDEO o r AUDIO L and R,) and to AV3 (VIDEO or
AUDIO L and R) .
Notes:
- When yo u use mono eq uipment, on ly the lef t loudspeaker
reprod uces sound. Use a mono- to-stere o adapter (no t supplied) for
sound r eproductio n through a ll internal loudspeakers .
- When us ing the S -VIDEO connect or do not connect any device to
the AV3 V IDEO input .
Connect the satell ite antenna cable or t he Cable TV cable to
the sate llite recei ver’s or cable box’s IN jack .
Connect the Video, Audio left and right AV c ables to the
VIDEO, L and R audio input jacks of AV3.
If your satellite receiver or cable box has an S-Video jack:
For impro ved picture q uality, conn ect an S-V ideo cab le to the
S-VIDEO input inst ead of c onnecting t he satellit e receiver o r
cable bo x to the VI DEO jac k.
Connect the audio c ables to th e device’s AUDI O L and R jacks
and to the L and R audio AV3 jacks on t he TV.
Recorder and other A /V devices
Use an si gnal split ter (not su pplied).
Connect one of the c able TV si gnal split ter (not sup plied)
output s to the cabl e box’s IN jack .
Connect the other c able TV si gnal split ter output to the
CABLE /ANTENNA 75 plug on the bot tom of the TV.
Connect the cable b ox’s OUT jack to the recorde rs RF IN
socket.
Connect the Video, Audio Left and Right (o nly for ster eo
sound) re corder AV cabl es to the VID EO, audio L and R
input AV2 jacks on th e TV.
