HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface)

HDMI is the leading new standard for Digit al video and audio
interconnection. With the HDM I connector you can connect
HDMI Set-Top Box compatible DVD-R or DVD player with HDMI,
or DVI-equipped devices like a computer or othe r HDMI devices
to your TV. With this connection, you can display high- definition
pictures on this TV in digital for mat.
Note: If the accessory device has DVI out put only, use a DVI to
HDMI adapter cable to connect to t he HDMI connector
Connect your HDMI device with HDMI conne ctor.

The HDMI IN connectors allow
- the following TV and monitor display modes :
SDTV 640/720 x 48 0i
EDTV 640/720 x 48 0p
HDTV 1920 x1080i/1280 x 720p
Notes:
- If necessary, you can adjust the picture posit ion to the center of the
screen with the cursor keys.
- Due to legal requirements, it is possibl e that audio may be muted when
playing certain copy protected PC M audio from a device connected to
the HDMI input.
- Your TV supports HDCP (High- bandwidth Digital Content Protection).
This is a system for protecting DVD content output ted via DVI from
being copied. It provides a secure digital li nk between a video source
(DVD,PC,etc.) and your T V. Content is encrypted at the source device to
prevent unauthorized copies from being made.
- Proper working is only guaranteed with H DMI compliant consumer
products.
- Digital devices from different manufac turers may differing output stan
dards, which may prevent your television from properl y displaying
output.
- If your TV does not detect a signal from your HDMI device, t urn off
and then turn on the HDMI device. For optimal view ing, we suggest you
adjust your DVD player to one of the following TV display st andards:
1920x1080i,1280x720p,720x480i or 720x480p.

Connect your camera , camcorder or game as shown.
Connect to VIDEO and AUDIO L for mo no equipmen t.

with an S-VHS camc order is obt ained by con necting th e S-VHS
cables with the S -VIDEO input and AUDIO inp uts .

Headpho ne
Insert the plug in to the head phone socket as shown .
Press th e MUTE but ton on the remote contr ol to switc h off
the int ernal louds peakers of t he TV. The he adphone impe dance
must be between 8 a nd 4000 O hm. The hea dphone socke t has a
3.5 mm jack.
In the S ound menu se lect Headp hone volume t o adjust th e head-
phone vol ume.
