6While END is selected,press ▲or ▼to select

the hour at which you want recording to stop.

AM or PM will appear with the hour.

Then,press Band press ▲or ▼to select the

minute at which you want recording to end.

Press B.

7Press ▲or ▼until the tape speed (SP or SLP)

appears at the right end of the line.

8Press SETUP to remove the menus.
9Press STANDBY-ON to turn off the

TV/VCR/DVD and set the timer recording.

The red REC/OTR light will appear on the front of the

TV/VCR/DVD.

You must turn off the TV/VCR/DVD to activate a

timer recording.If the power is not off and you con-

tinue watching TV,TIMER REC STANDBY starts flash-

ing on the screen two minutes before the pro-

grammed start time.Turn off the unit to do the

recording.

• To correct information while set-

ting the Timer Recording,press

sto go back one step and

select the incorrect information.

Press ▲or ▼to enter the cor-

rect information.

•While a timer recording is in

progress,the red REC/OTR light

will flash.

•If a timer recording is set for

hours or days later,you can use

the TV/VCR/DVD until then.Just

be sure to turn off the

TV/VCR/DVD about five minutes

before the recording.Set the

Cable Box/Satellite Receiver if

appropriate.

•If the record tab is missing,the

videotape will eject when you

press STANDBY-ON to turn off

the TV/VCR/DVD.Insert a record-

able tape for the timer recording.

• If the tape ends before the record-

ing is complete,the TV/VCR/DVD

will stop recording immediately

and eject the tape.
