Using as a D/A converter
Digital audio signals input from an external device or computer into this unit can be converted and output as analog signals using this unit (D/A converter).
Connect and playback from a digital device (Coaxial/Optical)Press DIGITAL IN to change the input source to “Coaxial” or “Optical”.
The input digital audio signal is displayed as shown.
“Coaxial | “Optical |
PCM xxxx kHz“ or | PCM xxxx kHz“ |
(xxxx indicates the sampling frequency.)
•If the sampling frequency cannot be detected, “Signal Unlock” will be displayed.
NOTE
•Linear PCM signals with sampling frequencies of 32 kHz, 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, 64 kHz, 88.2 kHz, 96 kHz, 176.4 kHz and 192 kHz can be input in the unit.
•Do not input
•If the sampling frequency switches, such as from A mode to B mode in a CS broadcast, muting may operate for 1 – 2 seconds, cutting the sound.
This unit can play both PCM source and DSD source.

(xxxx indicates the sampling frequency.)
•If the sampling frequency cannot be detected, “Signal Unlock” will be displayed.
•When “PC/PCM xxxx kHz” is displayed on this unit, wait for approximately 10 seconds, and then start and operate the music playback software on the computer. This unit functions as a D/A converter.
NOTE
