Installation

This section describes how to install and configure the McDATA 4416 switch module. It also describes how to load new firmware and how to recover a disabled switch module.

	Java 2 Runtime Environment to support the McDATA
	Embedded Web Server and McDATA Element
	Manager.

Telnet workstations require an RJ-45 Ethernet port and an operating system with a Telnet client.
