Disposal of Timer

It is illegal in many states and environmentally undesirable to dispose of the Timer Unit containing the battery in municipal trash. A fee has been paid to the Rechargeable Battery Recycling Corporation (RBRC) to collect these batteries and recycle them rather than incinerate or bury them.
