- To end a measurement for any reason, just press Start/Stop but- ton to turn off the unit and release the cuff pressure.

-If during a measurement the power drops to an insufficient level, the unit will end the measurement and display the low battery symbol.

-Replace the batteries and repeat the measurement.

-If the monitor is unable to measure a pulse it will end the measu- rement attempt. Wait a few minutes make sure that the cuff is positioned properly, and try again.

-The display automatically turns off after 3 minutes.

SETTING DATE AND TIME

-To be able to save subsequent measurement with correct date and time, you have to set date and time after proper battery installation or replacement.

-After the batteries have been installed "0:00" and "1 – 1" on the display.

-Press the Mode button, the individual figures will start to flash.

-When the figure you wish to change is flashing, press the Set button to change it.

-To continue to the next figure, press the Mode button, the next figure starts to flash. Be aware that when setting the date, the month is on the left and the date is on the right.

-When the date and time has been installed, press the Start/Stop button to end the setting procedure.

MEMORY FUNCTION

- When a valid measurement is made, the reading data will be sto- red with data and time into the Memory automatically as soon as the unit is turned off, automatically shuts off, or when another measurement is initiated

- To recall your last readings, press the memory button, the memo- ry number will appear in the upper right hand corner of the dis- play.

-Less memory number represents the newer reading. Up to 30 previous readings can be recalled.

When "No:A" appears in display will the represents average value of your systolic, diastolic be shown. The blood pressure reading and pulse will then be displayed alternately. These rea- dings are based on the current readings in the memory.

-By pressing the Start/Stop button at any time you would stop your memory recall and the display will return to normal time/date display.
