13.3Vlakken van smalle latten

De afdekking van de schaafas op de vlaktafels laten rusten.

De schuiver van de schaafas beveili- ging instellen tot op een dikte van het te schaven werkstuk. Een tolerantie van +/- 4 mm. geldt als maximale toegelaten tolerantie.

Bij het afregelen mag men met de handen niet over de schaafas glijden.

De linkse hand bevindt zich steeds achter de schaafas, de rechter hand schuift het werkstuk naar voor, maar wordt teruggetrokken alvorens ze de schaafas passeert.

14 Dagelijkse veiligheids-kontrole

Opgelet! Alvorens te beginnen de netstekker uittrekken.

De achterste vlaktafel moet precies op de hoogte van de omtrek van de schaafas ingesteld zijn. Wanneer de achterste tafel te hoog uitsteekt dan stoot het werkstuk bij het vooruit duwen tegen de kant van de achter- tafel. Wanneer de tafel te laag staat dan kan het lichaam van de schaafas het werkstuk raken en wegslingeren (Verhoogde terugslag door wrijving). Zie ook onder 15.4 van de handleiding.

De schaafbescherming moet zonder veel moeite instelbaar zijn. Ze moet regelmatig gesmeerd worden. Beschadigde onderdelen van het beschermtoestel moeten vervangen worden. De schuiver mag in de be- vestigde stand niet meer verschuif- baar zijn. Wanneer het klemmecha- nisme slijtage vertoond is moet deze onmiddellijk worden omgewisseld.

De grijpers van de terugslagbeveili- ging moeten door eigengewicht naar beneden vallen. Hiertoe volstaat het deze regelmatig te reinigen. De top van de grijpers moet altijd scherp zijn en in een goede toestand worden gehouden.

Opgelet! Alvorens te beginnen de netstekker uittrekken.

Na het losdraaien van de binnenste borgschroef A kan door rechts danwel linkom draaien de achterste vlaktafel aan de beitel-as aangepast

worden.
