♦Prescan
While viewing the scanned image on the screen, settings such as brightness and contrast of the scanned image can be finely adjusted.
When performing a scan with the [Prescan] checkbox selected, [Image Adjustment Screen] appears after the first page is scanned.
*This function cannot be used when [Multi Image Output], [Auto Color Detection], [Individual Setting] or [Enable Software IPC] functions are enabled.
*Depending on the settings during scanning, images may be slightly different from each other for documents adjusted on the [Image Adjustment Window] and the rest of the documents.
◊Adjusts Items:
Adjusts the scanning parameters (Brightness, Threshold, Contrast, Gamma, Higlight and Shadow).
◊Brightness:
Sets the brightness of the entire image. The setting range is from 1 (bright) to 255 (dark). To brighten the entire image, decrease the setting value. To darken the entire image, increase the setting value.
