Changing the lamp
Disconnect the tumble dryer from
the mains electricity supply.
^Open the door.
Youwill find the interior lamp cover at
the top of the drum aperture.
^Insert a suitable tool,such as a wide
bladed screwdriver,under the side
edge of the lamp coveras illustrated.
^Apply a littlepressure and whilst
doing so turn your wrist in the
direction of the arrowto open the
cover.
The coverwill open downwards.
The temperatureresistant lamp should
only be orderedfrom your Miele Dealer
or the Miele Spare PartsDepar tment.
The lamp specificationand
maximum wattageis stated on the
data plateand on the lamp cover.
^Replace the lamp.
^Toclose the cover push it upwards
and press it on the leftand right until
you hear it clickinto position.
,Ensure that it is fittedinto
position securely,as any moisture
could cause a short circuit.
