Paper Types To Be Avoided
The following types of paper should not be used, otherwise decreased
print quality or paper misfeeds may occur.
GOverhead transparencies that have already been fed through the
copier (even if the transparency is still blank)
GPaper that has been printed on by a heat-transfer printer or an inkjet
printer
GPaper that is either extremely thick or extremely thin
GFolded, curled, wrinkled, or torn paper
GPaper that has been left unwrapped for a long period of time
GDamp paper
GPerforated paper or paper with punched holes
GExtremely smooth or extremely rough paper, or pape r wi th an unev en
surface
GPaper that has been treated, such as carbon-backed, heat -sensitive or
pressure-sensitive paper
GPaper that has been decorated with foil or embossing
GPaper of various sizes
GPaper of a non-standard shape (not rectangular)
GPaper that is bound with glue, staples or paper clips
GPaper with labels attached
GPaper with ribbons, hooks, buttons, etc. attached
