Using Phone Menus

Security (Menu )

Allows you to secure the phone electronically.

Lock Phone (Menu )

Keeps your phone from unauthorized use. Once the phone is locked, it is in restricted mode until the lock code is entered. You can receive phone calls and still make emergency calls.

You can modify the lock code using the New Lock code within the Security menu.

1.Press , , .

2.Enter the four-digit lock code.

The default lock code is commonly the last 4 digits of your phone number.

3.Press Lock Phone.

4.Use to select a setting, then press .

Unlock

The phone is never locked.

Lock

The phone is always locked.

 

When locked, you can only receive

 

incoming calls or make emergency calls.

On Power Up

The phone is locked when it is turned on.

NOTE: If Unlock is selected, you can quickly lock the phone at any time by pressing .

Restrict Calls (Menu )

Allows you to restrict outgoing calls. If you set this feature to On, you can still receive calls, but you can only dial emergency numbers or numbers stored in your Contacts.

1.Press , , .

2.Enter the four-digit lock code.

3.Press Restrict Calls.

4.Use to select the setting, then press . On / Off

Emergency #s (Menu )

Allows you to enter 3 emergency numbers you can call even when the phone is locked or restricted.

1.Press , , .

2.Enter the four-digit lock code.

3.Press Emergency #s.

4.Use to select one of the three emergency number positions, then press .

5.Enter an emergency phone number, then press .

Change Lock (Menu )

Allows you to change to a new four-digit lock code.

1.Press , , .

2.Enter the four-digit lock code.

3.Press Change Lock.

4.Enter a new four-digit lock code.

5.Enter the new lock code again to confirm the original entry.
