Note: To complete these steps, you need to install Windows® Media Player® (version 10 or greater) on your computer. You can download Windows® Media Player® from

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ windowsmedia/default.mspx.

Note: The following steps assume you are using Windows® Media Player® version 10. If you are using a different version, the required steps may be different.

1Launch Windows® Media Player® (version 10 or greater).

2Insert an audio CD into your computer’s CD ROM drive.

3If necessary, set the music format to MP3.

aSelect “Tools” at the top of the Windows® Media Player® window, then select “Options.”

bClick on the “Rip Music” tab.

cUnder “Rip Settings,” click on the pull-down list under “Format” and select “mp3.”

dClick on the “OK” button.
