4Click on the “Rip” tab in the Windows Media Player window.

5Highlight the songs you want to rip and click on the “Rip Music” icon.

The songs you selected will rip one at a time. When all songs have been ripped, you can find the songs at this location on your computer:

\My Documents\My Music\Artist\Album.

Note: If your MP3 music files are not located in the folder listed above, click on the “Library” tab in the Windows Media Player window, highlight the song you just ripped, then right-click and select “Open File Location.”

copy music to your phone

You can copy MP3 music files to your

phone memory or to an optional memory card (see page 62), then play the music on your phone’s music player.

For the optimal music experience, it is recommended that you purchase an optional memory card.

Note: If you download a copyrighted file and store it on your memory card, you can use the file only while your memory card is inserted in your phone. You cannot send, copy, or change copyrighted files.

When you load a song, information about the genre (type of music), album, and artist is loaded into the Artists, Albums, and Genres folders in your music player (see page 49). If the information is not available
