format memory card

Note: You must format a memory card before using it for the first time. This procedure is critical because it creates the “Mobile” and “Motorola” directories that are used by your phone. If you do not format a memory card before using it for the first time, your phone may not be able to read the contents of the card.

Caution: Formatting the memory card will erase all content currently stored on the card.

1Scroll to Memory Card and press Options (the left soft key).

2Scroll to Format and press Select.

2Press Options to open the menu for the selected object type.

3Scroll to Switch Storage Devices and press Select.

4Scroll to Memory Card T-Flash, and press the center key s.
