Press the up or down volume key, then press the smart/speakerphone key to scroll through the alert styles: Loud, Soft, Vibrate, Vibrate then Ring, and Silent. The alert styles are

shown on the phone’s external display.

After scrolling to the desired alert style, press the up or down volume key to save the setting and return to the home screen.

store a phone number

You can store a phone number in Contacts:

1Enter a phone number in the home screen.

2Press Store.

3Enter a name and other details for the phone number. To select a highlighted item, press the center key s.

4Press Done to store the number and other entry information.
