If You Forget a Code, PIN, or Password

Note: Your phone’s 4-digit unlock code is originally set to 1234, and the 6-digit security code is originally set to 000000. Many service providers reset the unlock code to the last 4 digits of your phone number before you receive your phone.

If you forget your unlock code, try entering 1234 or the last 4 digits of your phone number. If that does not work, do the following at the Enter Unlock Code prompt: Tap é to display the unlock code bypass screen. Enter your security code, then tap OK to submit the security code.

If you forget your security code, SIM card PIN code, PIN2 code, or call barring password, contact your service provider.

Master Reset

Reset all options back to their original factory settings, except for the lifetime timer.

1Tap T Setup in the application launcher screen, then tap

Master Reset.

2Enter your security code when prompted, and then tap OK.

3Tap OK to confirm that you want to perform master reset.

Tip: Tap Cancel to exit without performing the master reset procedure.
