iTAP® and tap mode tips
•Press 0 in a text entry view to change text case to all capital letters L, no capitals í, or next letter capital ì.
•To enter numbers quickly, press and hold a number key to temporarily switch to numeric mode. Press the number keys to enter the numbers you want. Enter a space to change back to iTAP or Tap mode.
•Press 1 to enter punctuation or other characters.
•Press S to move the flashing cursor to enter or edit message text.
•To cancel your message, press P.
numeric mode
In a text entry screen, press #to switch entry methods until the 12 (numeric) indicator displays.
Press keypad keys to enter the numbers you want. When you finish entering numbers, press #to switch to another entry method.
symbol mode
In a text entry screen, press #to switch the text entry methods until the [ (symbol) indicator displays.
1Press keypad keys (one press per key) to show possible symbol combinations at the bottom of the display.
2Press S left or right to highlight the combination you want.
3Press SELECT to lock a highlighted combination or you can press keypad keys
