Troubleshooting

Problem	Solution
My phone will	Your phone sends commands and
not send	passwords as DTMF tones. You
voicemail	can set your phone’s DTMF tones
commands,	to be Long, Short, or Off. If you
passwords, or	have trouble sending numbers, try
other codes.	changing the DTMF setting.
	1 From the idle display, press:
	M > Settings
	> Other Settings
	> Initial Setup > DTMF
	2 Press S to scroll to Long or
	Short (some analog networks
	may not recognize short
	tones).
	3 Press SELECT (+) to select
	it.

display is too	change the level of contrast in

	You can also use the Backlight
	feature to change the length of
	time that the display backlight
