The router supports four connection modes:

!Cable Modem (DHCP)

!DSL Modem (PPPoE)

!Static Assigned

!PPTP

Select the appropriate connection method for your ISP (Internet Service Provider).

Based on which connection type you select, different areas are grayed out (become inaccessible), leaving you only the appropriate fields to fill in.

For details on each Connection Mode type, refer to Section 2:Installation.

Provides connection repair information depending on the connection mode selected.

For example, for DHCP, the router issues a request for a new IP address from the ISP’s DHCP server.

Provides current information about the connection status of the router.

Press the Refresh button to update the status of the router.
