Unpacking
Your SCXI-119Xmodule is shipped in an antistatic package to prevent
electrostaticdamage to the module. Electrostatic discharge can damage
severalcomponents onthe module. To a void such damage in handling the
module, take the following precautions:
•Ground yourself using a grounding strap or by holding a grounded
object.
•Touchthe antistatic package to a metal part of your computer chassis
before removingthe mod ulefrom the package.
Caution Nevert ouch the exposedpins of conn ectors.
Removethe module from the package and inspect the module f orlo ose
components or anysign of damage. Notify National Instruments if the
moduleappears damaged in any way. Do notinstall adamaged module into
your computer.
Store your SCXI-119Xmodule in the antistatic envelopewh en not in use.
Installing the SCXI-119XModule into an SCXI Chassis
You need the following items to complete the installation:
•SCXI-119Xmodule
•SCXI chassis
