Followthese steps to install your SCXI-119Xmodule into an SCXI chassis
while referring to Figure 1-1 and your chassis documentation:

1. Turnoff the computer that contains the DAQdevice or computer-based
instrument, or disconnect the computer from your SCXI chassis.
2. Turnoff the SCXI chassis.
Caution Do not insert the SCXI-119Xmodule into a chassis that is poweredon because
doing so could damage the module.
3. Removethe protective plastic caps from the thumbscrews of the
module so that the module will insert correctly.
4. Insertthe SCXI-119Xmodule into slot 1. Gent ly guide the module into
the module guides and push it to the back of the slot until the
connectors makegoo dc ontact.T he module must be firmlyengaged;
however,do not force the module into place. If the module is not
sliding easily into the chassis, check for correct insertion into the
module guides.
