You can use the LEDs to verify various conditions. Table 1-1lists and describes each LED on the front panel of the router. These LEDs are green when lit.

The system is initializing.

Internet

Blink -- Amber

Indicates ADSL training.

 

On -- Green

The Internet port has detected a link with an attached device.

 

Blink -- Green

Data is being transmitted or received by the Internet port.

 

 

 

Wireless

On

Indicates that the Wireless port is initialized.

 

 

 

LAN

On (Green)

The Local port has detected link with a 100 Mbps device.

 

Blink (Green)

Data is being transmitted or received at 100 Mbps.

 

On (Amber)

The Local port has detected link with a 10 Mbps device.

 

Blink (Amber)

Data is being transmitted or received at 10 Mbps.

 

Off

No link is detected on this port.
