Losing Connection to a Sensor

The connection to your shoe sensor might get lost while you’re recording a run. This can happen if you stop running. You’ll know the connection is lost if you see a shoe icon that blinks (fig.38) or turns off all together.

If the connection to the sensor is lost for 30 seconds, your Nike+ SportBand automatically starts a 5-minute countdown.

If you start running again before the 5-minute countdown ends, the SportBand connects back to the sensor, and recording automatically resumes. Recording will not have been interrupted.

If you stop for longer than 5 minutes, the recording automatically pauses, and the most recent display metric blinks. To resume recording, you must manually press the Record button (on the top) again, and start running. (fig.39)

If 30 minutes pass and you haven’t pressed the Record button to resume recording your run, the SportBand will stop recording, and automatically end your workout.
