Checking battery power

Important!

Note that DD DDD appears inthe LCD panel when the battery is replaced . Remember to set the date and time.

(For setting date and time, see page 10.)

Note: To preserve battery power, be sure to turn the camera OFF when not in use.

• Pullout the tab to remove battery easily.

Turning the camera ON/OFF

1 Turn the camera ON by sliding the Power switch/Lens cover in the direction of the arrow until it click stops

-The lens automatically extends out to the W(wideangle) position .

2 Turn the camera OFF by sliding the Power switch/Lens cover in the reverse direction until i.t click stops

1 Turn the camera ON.

2 Check battery power.

-If ClIII blinks in the LCD panel, replace the battery

If nothing appears in the LCD panel, the battery is exhausted or incorrectly installed.
