The Temporary Files Tab

The Temporary Files tab offers the following option:

Folder for temporary data

Specify the folder or volume in which tem- porary data, such as image cache data, will be stored. The default folder for Windows is the “TEMP” folder in the Windows di- rectory, while the default volume for the Macintosh is the start-up disk. To choose

adifferent folder in the Windows version of the program, click the Browse… button and navigate to the desired location. In the Macintosh version, a new volume can be chosen from the pop-up menu.

The Temporary Files Tab

Changes to settings in the Temporary Files tab also apply to Nikon Capture 4 Camera Control. Nikon Capture 4 must be restarted before changes to settings will take effect.
