The Basics of Shooting and Playback

Preparation 1 Charge the Battery

1Connect the power cable in the order indicated below.

2Insert the included Rechargeable Li-ion

Battery EN-EL12 into the included Battery

Charger MH-65 by sliding the battery

forward (1), and then press down until it

locks into place (2).

•The CHARGE lamp starts flashing when charging

starts.

•A fully-exhausted battery charges in about 2 hours

and 30 minutes.

•When charging is complete, the CHARGE lamp lights.

•See “Understanding the CHARGE Lamp” (A11).

3When charging is complete, remove the battery, and then unplug the

charger.
