ANúmero de guía

Para calcular el alcance del flash a máxima potencia hay que dividir el número de guía por el diafragma. Por ejemplo, en ISO 100 el SB-800 tiene un número de guía de 38 m o 125 pies (posición del cabezal del zoom 35 mm); su alcance con un diafragma de f/5.6 es 38÷5,6 o aproximadamente 6,8 metros (o en pies, 125÷5,6 = aproximadamente 23 pies 7 pul.). Para cada doble incremento en la sensibilidad ISO, multiplique el número de guía por la raíz cuadrada de 2 (aproximadamente 1,4).
