El autofoco podría no proporcionar los resultados deseados con los objetivos de gran angular o de súper gran angular en los casos siguientes:

1 El sujeto no llena el punto de enfoque.

Cuando el sujeto no abarque el punto de enfoque, la cámara podría enfocar el fondo y el sujeto podría estar fuera de enfoque.

2 El sujeto contiene muchos detalles precisos.

La cámara podría tener problemas al enfocar sujetos que contengan muchos detalles precisos o que carezcan de contraste.

Ejemplo: Un sujeto de retrato lejano a cierta distancia del fondo
