Choose the function assigned to the AAE-L/AF-Lbutton on the optional MB-D15 battery pack.

Option Description

BAE/AF lock Focus and exposure lock while the MB-D15 AAE-L/AF-Lbutton is pressed.

CAE lock only Exposure locks while the MB-D15 AAE-L/AF-Lbutton is pressed.

Exposure locks when the MB-D15 AAE-L/AF-Lbutton is pressed, and

EAE lock (Hold) remains locked until the button is pressed a second time or the standby timer expires.

FAF lock only Focus locks while the MB-D15 AAE-L/AF-Lbutton is pressed.

A AF-ON	Pressing the MB-D15 AAE-L/AF-Lbutton initiates autofocus. The shutter-
	release button can not be used to focus.

Press the MB-D15 AAE-L/AF-Lbutton to lock flash value (built-in flash and

r FV lock compatible optional flash units only, 0 125, 305). Press again to cancel FV lock.

GSame as Fn The MB-D15 AAE-L/AF-Lbutton performs the function selected for

button Custom Setting f2 (0 253).

Choose the role played by the Fn button during movie live view (the default option is

None).

Option	Description
s View photo	Press the button to display information on shutter speed, aperture, and
	other photo settings in place of movie recording information. Press again
shooting info	to return to the movie recording display (0 163).

BAE/AF lock Focus and exposure lock while the button is pressed.

CAE lock only Exposure locks while the button is pressed.

E AE lock (Hold)	Exposure locks when the button is pressed, and remains locked until the
	button is pressed a second time or the standby timer expires.

FAF lock only Focus locks while the button is pressed.

A AF-ON	Pressing the button initiates autofocus. The shutter-release button can
	not be used to focus.
None	Pressing the button has no effect.	U
