Number of Exposures Remaining

The number of pictures that can be taken is displayed.

Cis displayed when no memory card is inserted in the camera, and images will be saved in the internal memory (approx. 20 MB).

The number of exposures remaining depends on the amount of available memory in the internal memory or memory card, and also varies depending on the image quality and image size (determined by the image mode setting; A 61).

Turning the Camera On and Off

When the camera is turned on, the power-on lamp (green) will light and then the monitor will turn on (the power-on lamp turns off when the monitor turns on).

To turn off the camera, press the power switch. When the camera turns off, the power-on lamp and the monitor turn off.

You can press and hold the c (playback) button to turn on the camera and switch to playback mode. The lens will not extend.
