Continuous Shooting

Change settings to continuous or BSS (best shot selector).

Option	Description
USingle	One picture is taken each time the shutter-release button is pressed.

	While the shutter-release button is held all the way down, the camera
VContinuous	captures up to four images at a rate of about 1.2 frames per second (fps)
	when Image mode is set to P4608×3456 (for L26) or i3648×2736 (for
	L25).
	The “best shot selector” is recommended when shooting with the flash off or
	the camera zoomed in, or in other situations in which inadvertent motion
DBSS	can result in blurred images. When BSS is on, the camera takes up to ten
	pictures while the shutter-release button is held down. The sharpest image in

	• BSS is best suited to shooting subjects that are not moving. When
	shooting moving subjects or when the composition of the picture
	changes while shooting, the desired results may not be achieved.
	Each time the shutter-release button is pressed, the
	camera takes 16 shots at a rate of about 30 fps and
WMulti-shot 16	arranges them in a single image.
	• Image mode is fixed at L(image size: 2560 ×
	1920 pixels).
	• Digital zoom cannot be used.

The icon for the current setting is displayed in the monitor when the camera is in shooting mode (A 6). No icon is displayed when Single is selected.
