Preselecting Images in the Camera That You Want to Transfer to a Smart Device

You can preselect images in the camera that you want to transfer to a smart device. Movies cannot be preselected for transfer.

1Select images to transfer.

You can preselect the images to transfer to a smart device in the following menus:

•Mark for Wi-Fi upload in the playback menu (A90)

•Upload from camera in the Wi-Fi options menu (A103)

When using Upload from camera, the SSID and password of the camera are displayed after images are selected.

2Connect the camera and smart device (A117).

Tap “View Photos” on the displayed confirmation screen to transfer the specified images to the smart device.

B Preselecting Images to Transfer During Playback

While the camera is in playback mode, press the Z(Wi-Fi) button or use the NFC function to establish a Wi-Fi connection, and preselect the displayed images that you want to transfer.

•In full-frame playback mode, you can add one image at a time. When a key picture is selected, all images in that sequence are added.

•In thumbnail playback mode, you can add one image that is selected by the cursor.

•In calendar display mode, you can add all images that were captured on the selected date.

This operation is not available when you use Connect to smart device in the Wi-Fi options menu to establish the Wi-Fi connection.
