When Movie options (A96) of the movie menu is set to h/uHS 480/4×, i/wHS 720/2× or j/xHS 1080/0.5×, movies that can be played back in slow motion or fast motion can be recorded.

Saving Still Pictures While Recording Movies

The image size of the still pictures to be saved is set to i(1920 × 1080).

BNotes on Saving Still Pictures During Movie Recording

Still pictures cannot be saved during movie recording in the following situations.

-When movie recording is paused

-When a movie is recorded in the internal memory

-When the remaining movie length is less than 10 seconds

-When Movie options (A96) is set to n1080/60i, q1080/50i, g480/30p, s

480/25p or HS movie

Frames of a movie that were recorded when a still picture was being taken may not be played back in a seamless manner.

The sounds of operating the shutter-release button when saving a still picture may be heard in the recorded movie.

If the camera moves when the shutter-release button is pressed, the picture may be blurred.
