Use a tripod for the best results. Set Vibration reduction to Off from the setup menu (A 98) when using a tripod to stabilize the camera.

In the shooting screen MA(shooting mode) button Mb(second icon from the top) MKMp Panorama assist (A26, 27)

1Press the Abutton in shooting

mode and use the multi selector to select p(Panorama assist) scene mode (A44).

Panorama direction icons are displayed to

2Use the multi selector to choose the direction

and press the kbutton.

Select the direction in which pictures will be joined in

 

the completed panorama; right (I), left (J), up (K) or

 

down (L).

The yellow panorama direction icon (II) is displayed

for the current direction and the direction is fixed when

 

 

 

 

kis pressed. The icon changes to the white fixed direction Iicon.

 

If necessary, apply flash mode (A 54), self-timer (A56), macro mode (A 57) and exposure compensation (A58) settings with this step.

Press the kbutton again to choose a different direction.

3Frame the first portion of the

panorama scene and take the first picture.

The camera focuses on the subject at the

center of the frame.

 

 

One third of the picture will be displayed as

translucent.
