Auto Sort Mode

Pictures are automatically sorted in to categories, such

as portraits, landscapes, and movies. If you choose F

 

Auto sort using the procedure described in “Switching

 

Between Playback Modes” (A70), the category

 

selection screen is displayed. Select a category with the

 

multi selector, and press the k button to play back

Pictures taken in smart portrait mode (A47) with the smile

timer setting set to On are displayed.

D Portraits

Pictures taken in smart portrait mode (A47) with the smile

timer setting set to Off are displayed.

 

 

Pictures taken in A(auto) mode (A50) with the face detection

 

(A65).

Pictures taken in Food scene mode (A39) are displayed.

ULandscape

Pictures taken in Landscape* scene mode (A 39) are

displayed.

 

VDusk to dawn

Pictures taken in Night landscape*, Sunset, Dusk/dawn and

Fireworks show scene modes (A39) are displayed.

 

D Close-ups

Pictures taken in Close-up* scene mode (A 39) are displayed.

Pictures taken in A(auto) mode with the macro mode setting

 

(A57) are displayed.

OPet portrait

Pictures taken in Pet portrait scene mode (A39) are displayed.

DMovie

Movies (A 90) are displayed.

XRetouched copies

Copies created using editing functions (E10) are displayed.

WOther scenes

All other pictures that cannot be defined by the categories

described above are displayed.

 

*Pictures taken in G(easy auto) mode (A 38) are also sorted to the appropriate categories.

• The following operation is available while the category selection screen is displayed.

- l button : Deletes all pictures in the selected category.

•When viewing pictures in full-frame playback mode or thumbnail playback mode, press the d button to display the menu and then select the F(auto sort menu) tab to select a feature from the playback menu (A71).
