Special Effects Mode (Applying Effects When Shooting)

Effects can be applied to pictures during shooting.

In the shooting screen MA(shooting mode) button MD(third icon from the top*) M KMselect an effect (A26, 27)

*The icon of the special effect previously selected is displayed on the monitor. The default setting is DSoft.

Select from the six effects listed below.

 

 

 

Nostalgic sepia

DSoft

Softens the picture by adding a slight blur to the entire picture.

 

 

 

 

 

Features

ENostalgic sepia

Adds a sepia tone and reduces the contrast to simulate the

qualities of an old photograph.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

FHigh-contrast

Changes the picture to black and white and gives it sharp

 

monochrome

contrast.

 

 

 

 

 

GHigh key

Gives the entire picture a bright tone.

 

 

 

 

 

HLow key

Gives the entire picture a dark tone.

 

 

 

 

 

ISelective color

Selective color creates a black and white picture in which only

 

the specified color remains.

 

 

 

 

 

 

When Selective color is selected, use the multi selector Hor Ito select the desired color from the

slider. To change settings for any of the following functions, first press the kbutton to cancel color selection, then change the settings as desired.

-Flash mode (A54)

-Macro mode (A57)

To return to the color selection screen, press the k button again.

Changing Special Effects Mode Settings

Features that can be set using the multi selector (A53) are the flash mode (A54), self-timer (A56), macro mode (A57), and exposure compensation (A58).

Features that can be set using the dbutton is image mode (the combination of image size and image quality) (A61).
