
Preparation 3 Insert a Memory Card
Removing Memory CardsBe sure that the
Gently push the memory card into the camera (1) to partially eject the card, and then remove the card. Pull the memory card straight out of the camera (2); do not pull it at an angle.
BHigh Temperature Caution
The camera, battery, and memory card may be hot immediately after using the camera. Observe caution when removing the battery or memory card.
Internal Memory and Memory CardsCamera data, including still pictures and movies, can be saved in either the camera’s internal memory (approximately 94 MB) or on a memory card. To use the camera’s internal memory for shooting or playback, first remove the memory card.
Approved Memory CardsThe following Secure Digital (SD) memory cards have been tested and approved for use in this camera.
•Memory cards with an SD Speed Class rating of 6 or faster are recommended for recording movies. Movie recording may stop unexpectedly when memory cards with a lower Speed Class rating are used.
