Shooting FeaturesG(Easy Auto Mode)

When you frame a picture, the camera automatically selects the optimum scene, allowing you to easily take pictures using a shooting mode that suits the scene.

In the shooting screen MA(shooting mode) button MG(easy auto) mode (A26, 27)

When the camera is pointed at a subject, the camera automatically selects the optimum scene from the list below.

-e: Portrait

-f: Landscape

-h: Night portrait

-g: Night landscape

-i: Close-up

-j: Backlighting

-U: Other shooting scene

The active focus areas change depending on the selected scene. If a human face is detected, the camera focuses on it (A65).

BNotes on G(Easy Auto) Mode

When digital zoom is in effect, shooting mode is U.

The desired scene may not be selected in certain condition. In this case, select another shooting mode.

Changing G(Easy Auto) Mode Settings

Features that can be set using the multi selector (A 53) are the flash mode (A54), self-timer (A 56), and exposure compensation (A58).

Features that can be set using the dbutton is image mode (the combination of image size and image quality) (A 61).
