Changing the Size

You can select the size of APhotos (still images) and NMovies (A50) using CChoose a size in the shooting menu.

Enter shooting mode Many flexible button Mpress IMflexible button 3 (CChoose a size)

Image Types (Image Size and Quality)

You can select the image size used when saving images.

Select the image type best suited to the manner in which images will be used and the capacity of the internal memory or memory card.

Image type	Size (pixels)	Description
D Large (10 megapixels)		Images will be higher quality than E Medium (4	Shooting
	3648×2736	megapixels). The compression ratio is
(default setting)		approximately 1:4.
E Medium (4 megapixels)	2272×1704	Smaller size than D Large (10 megapixels)	Features
		allows more images to be saved. The
		compression ratio is approximately 1:8.
F Small (2 megapixels)	1600×1200	Smaller size than E Medium (4 megapixels)
		allows more images to be saved. The
		compression ratio is approximately 1:8.
