
Macro Mode
Macro mode is used for taking pictures of objects as close as 2 cm (0.8 in.). Note that the flash may be unable to light the entire subject at distances of less than 50 cm (1 ft. 7 in.).
1 Press p(macro mode).
•The macro mode menu is displayed.
2 Use the rotary multi selector to choose ON and press the kbutton.
•The macro mode icon (F) is displayed.
•If a setting is not applied by pressing the kbutton within a few seconds, the selection will be cancelled.

3 Use the zoom control and frame the picture.
• The closest distance at which the camera can focus varies depending on the zoom position. At the zoom
position (wide angle position before the Gicon) where the Ficon and zoom display glow green, the camera can focus on subjects as close as 4 cm (1.6 in.)
