B Notes About Image Editing

The editing functions of COOLPIX S6400 cannot be used for images captured with another make or model of digital camera.

Images captured using Easy panorama (A48) or 3D photography (A50) cannot be edited.

If no face is detected in an image, a copy cannot be created using the glamour retouch function (E29).

When 999 images are already sorted into the X(retouched copies) category in auto sort mode (E11), images cannot be edited.

Edited copies created with COOLPIX S6400 may not be displayed properly on another make or model of digital camera. It may also be impossible to transfer them to a computer using another make or model of digital camera.

Editing functions are not available when there is not enough free space in the internal memory or on the memory card.

Images created in Draw scene mode (E2) can only be edited with the paint, small picture, or crop function.

To edit an individual image in a sequence of images (E14) when only the key picture is displayed, perform one of the procedures described below:

-Tap R to display a sequence of images as individual images and select an image in the sequence.

-Set Sequence display options (E110) in the setup menu to Individual pictures to display them as individual images and select an image.
