Connecting the Camera to a Printer (Direct Print)

Reference Section

Users of PictBridge-compatible (F22) printers can connect the camera directly to the printer and print images without using a computer.

Follow the procedures below to print images.

Take pictures

Select images for printing and

number of copies using

Print order option (E 73)

Connect to the printer (E39)

Print images one at a time

EPrint multiple images (E43) ( 41)

When printing is complete, turn the camera off and disconnect the USB cable

B Notes About Power Source

•When connecting the camera to a printer, use a fully charged battery to prevent the camera from turning off unexpectedly.

•If the AC Adapter EH-62G (available separately) is used, COOLPIX S6400 can be powered from an electrical outlet. Do not use any other make or model of AC adapter as it may cause the camera to heat up or malfunction.
