Switching the phone on and off

Press and hold the power key.

If the phone requests a PIN code

•Key in the PIN code, which is dis- played as asterisks ✱, and press OK.

If the phone requests a security code

•Key in the security code, which is displayed as asterisks ✱, and press OK.

WARNING! Do not switch on the phone when wireless phone use is prohibited or when it may cause interfer- ence or danger.

Getting started

NOTE: Your phone has a built-in antenna. As with any other radio-transmitting de- vice, do not touch the anten- na unnecessarily when the phone is switched on. Con- tact with the antenna affects call quality and may cause the phone to operate at a higher power level than oth- erwise needed.

Not touching the antenna area during a phone call optimizes the antenna per- formance and the talktime of your phone.

Normal position: Hold the phone as you would any other telephone.
