select whether to keep or erase the original name and phone number and press Select.

Scroll to the name and/or phone number to copied. Press Copy to start copying or Back to cancel the operation.

If you select Copy all

select whether to keep or erase the original names and phone numbers and press Select.

Press OK to start copying or Back to cancel the operation.

If the name is too long for the target phone book, then name is shortened.

If the name already is in the target phone book with a different phone number, an ordinal number is added to the end of the name.

4.Scroll to the name and phone number you want to erase. Press E rase and then confirm with OK.

Erase all

1.In the standby mode, press Names.

2.Scroll to Erase and press Select.

3.Scroll to Erase all and press Select.

4.Select the memory to be erased, Phone or SIM card. Press Select.

5.At the prompt Are you sure?, press OK.

6.Key in the security code and press OK.

Erasing a name and phone number

You can remove names and phone numbers from the selected phone book one by one or all at once.

One by one

1.In the standby mode, press Names.

2.Scroll to Erase and press Select.

3.Scroll to One by one and press Se- lect.

Assigning a phone number as a speed dial number

The first nine names and phone num- bers stored in phone book are auto- matically saved as speed dial numbers and can be speed dialled via the

number keys - . If you want to assign another number to a speed dial key, take the following steps:

1.Press Names and select Speed Dials. If no phone number is assigned to a key, press Assign.
