Messages (Menu 1)
Reading a text message (Inbox menu 1-1)
When you receive a text message,
and the number of new mes- sages followed by message(s) received will appear and a short tone will be heard.
•Press Read to view the message list immediately or Exit to view it later.
To view the message list later
1.In the Messages menu, scroll to In- box, and press Select.
2.Scroll to the desired message and
press Read to read it. Use or
to browse through the mes- sage and related information, such as Sender’s phone number and Re- ception date and time.
3.While reading the message, press Options to access one of the fol- lowing options, and press OK to activate it:
•Erase to delete the message.
•Reply to reply to the message.
•Edit to change the contents of the message.
•Use number to extract a phone number from the message for calling or saving it in the phone book.
•Forward to send the message onwards.
•Print via IR to print the message on a compatible printer through the phone’s Infrared port.
•Details to show details of the message: sender’s name or phone number, the message centre used for sending, recep- tion date and time, reply path availability.
NOTE: in front of the header means that the message has not yet been read.
in front of the header indicates a de- livery report.
When flashes your phone has no more space for new messages. Erase some of the existing messages.
